Sekforde was born out of Talula’s frustration with the limited ways to enjoy spirits.
She wanted lighter, fresher options that complement and lengthen spirits instead of overpowering them.
Because cola and ginger, while delicious, mask the taste and contain high levels of sugar. They weren’t created with mixing in mind.
Given the skill and craft that goes into their creation, when she thought about it, mixing with standard soft drinks seemed madness. Why have we never created mixers specifically tailored for mixing?
So, in her kitchen on Sekforde Street, she dreamed up Sekforde mixers - created for mixing and tailored around the spirits themselves in every aspect. Flavour, strength or flavour, sugar level.
First came the whisky and bourbon mixer, then the rum. This was closely followed by a tonic alternative, the gin and vodka mixer a response to the frustration of the 1 in 3 who wanted to enjoy gin but didn’t enjoy tonic. Finally, the range was completed with a mixer for tequila and mezcal. Incredible spirits whose quality was overlooked with the ‘shot’ culture and the lack of a refreshing long serve option.

Tailored to mix with gin or vodka
A sparkling blend of raspberry, rose and sage botanical extracts. Soft sweetness from aromatic raspberry and rose balanced with a silvery hint of sage on the finish. Complements gin’s juniper notes and vodka’s crystalline purity.

SICILIAN ORANGE, ROSEMARY &
Tailored to mix with whisky and bourbon
A sparkling blend of sicilian orange, rosemary and gentian botanical extracts. The toasted grain sweetness of whisky is rounded out with the warm and rich sicilian orange, while the spicy oak cask finish is lengthened by a unique blend of dry bitters - rosemary and gentian.

FIG & CARDAMOM
Tailored to mix with tequila and mezcal
A sparkling blend of prickly pear, fig and cardamom botanical extracts. This mixer is based on the principle of ‘what grows together, goes together’ (prickly pear and fig trees grow beside agave plants). Here, the prickly pear and fig deliver understated honeyed notes, complementing the smoky sweetness in agave based spirits. While cardamom layers with the spicier finish unique to tequila and mezcal.

& CACAO SODA
Tailored to mix with rum
A sparkling blend of lime, mint and cacao botanical extracts. Lime and mint extracts give a fresh, sophisticated edge to the rounded sweetness of rum, while the finish is lengthened with Ecuadorian cacao bitters.

The Sekforde perfect serve is simple: just treat it like your best G&T.
Fill your glass with ice
Add 25ml or 50ml of your chosen spirit
Top with Sekforde
Our recommended garnishes are:
Orange for whisky and bourbon
Lime (& mint if you fancy it) for rum
Pink grapefruit or raspberries for gin or vodka
Pear or pink grapefruit for tequila and mezcal
Although we spent many a pleasurable hour tailoring our Sekforde mixers to their related spirits, everyone’s tastes are unique, so please don’t be afraid to experiment!
